San Francisco, California – Cryptocurrencies are starting to show their power and reach across the globe.
The latest example is the popularity of Cryptocash, a cryptocurrency tour and conference in San Franciscas new downtown, San Francisco.
Cryptocast host George Straits tour will feature a wide range of cryptocurrency related activities, including an event focused on the digital currency, blockchain, cryptocurrency, and the future of payments.
The tour, dubbed Cryptocamp, is an initiative of Crypto Coins, an all-volunteer organization, that works to promote and support cryptocurrency and blockchain related education.
The San Francisco event is the first in a series of upcoming events, with a total of 14 cities and regions participating in the tour.
The CryptoCamps San Francisco tour is set to kick off on Friday, March 6th, with the first stop in the heart of downtown San Francisco featuring George Straitts live debut.
There, Straits will highlight his new book, The Bitcoin Revolution and the End of Money, which he has been working on since the summer.
The book, released earlier this year, was written with co-author Peter Todd, the CEO of digital currency startup Circle.
The two men have had a fruitful collaboration over the last year.
Straitt, who has spent most of his life in the tech industry, says he feels like he has stumbled upon a new and powerful technology that is going to change how we do business.
Straits’ book has received glowing reviews from publications like Bloomberg and Forbes.
Strait is also one of the founding members of Coin Center, a startup that supports entrepreneurs in the cryptocurrency space.
The book will also be available at the Cryptocamps San Fran website.
The tour will be a part of a series on the future and the benefits of digital currencies and blockchain.
Straitiz will be moderating a panel discussion with Bitcoin enthusiasts and investors on the topic, which will be held on Thursday, March 11th at 7:30pm.
It will be streamed live on CryptoCamp’s website.
Straitting has been touring the country and overseas in the past, and will be back in the United States to hold a private event later this month.
