Buses will be the primary mode of transportation on the PGA Tour as the tournament moves to a 24-team format starting in 2019.
The tournament has always played in the “double-headers” format, which allows players to play four rounds against each other.
It has never been the only option, though, and the 2018 PGA Championship saw only two double-headers — the FedEx Cup and the Players Championship.
The 2018 Tour Championship was played in four days, which is how many times the PGRP can play a game.
There are also two doubleheaders for the 2018 World Golf Championships in Japan and the United States.
The 2018 PGRPs Tour Championship is scheduled to be played in September, but the PGL Tour Championship, which will be played next year, is set for November.
